The Bald Eagle was resting in a large Oak Tree at Fort Donalson Nat'l Battlefield. After 2 hours of on and off preening she went fishing in the Cumberland River and proceeded to enjoy catfish for lunch. Her mate joined her at the end of the day, quietly watching the River. Made for an amazing science lesson today!
