It was just amazing! I looked out my back window and 20-25 robins were feasting on the dried crab-apples on the tree in my back yard. There would be about 20 at a time in the tree munching on the crab-apples, and then five would fly in and about 5 would fly out. This lasted for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. I tried to take a picture with an I-phone but it did not come out through the window. I did not want to open the window or venture outside for fear of scaring the birds away. I have lived in this house for 29 years, have multiple feeders in my yard, but have never seen such a congregation of robins, especially those feeding on the crab-apples; they are just usually feeding in the grass.
