We planted our tulips right before Thanksgiving holidays in the front of our school. We dug a trench about 7 inches deep and took turns planting our tulip bulbs. We were careful to place them with the pointed side up. The stem and leaves will come out of the top of the bulb. Then we covered it with soil and a little bit of fertilizer. Finally we covered it with mulch. We have a sign in front of the school telling about our tulip test garden
