At approximately 4:30 p.m. on January 22, 2013, I saw four separate groups of 20-30 robins each, in my yard. They flocked from ground to tree top, hedge to ground, tree to hedge - I've never seen so many robins at one time even during the summer. The attached photo isn't the greatest, as I wasn't able to get a close-up and the light was bad - but every bird discernible in that bare tree is a robin.
