Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 01/18/2013

Number: 1

We started our day by partnering up with the tools. Some had big tools and some had small tools. We took out the grass and roots. We were careful not to disturb the trees' roots or earthworms. There were many worms and also larva.
Next we need to bring soil from our compost pile in the garden. We took turns digging compost while others spread the soil and lifted it into a raised up circle around the tree.
We planted 100 Emperor Tulip bulbs around four apple trees. Each group planted 25 bulbs and each student planted three bulbs.
The weather was cloudy and rainy before we planted, after planting, and while we planted
