We live near an area of Utah called "Eagle Mountain". We see Bald Eagles from around Thanksgiving until the snow melts, sometime in late February into early March. They are seldom here during the winter unless there is snow on the ground. They do not live here at other times of the year, but we have owls and hawks here when the eagles are not. They are quite confident around us. They will let us get within 25 yards if we stay in our vehicles. There is a roosting tree across the street from our home that has anywhere from 8 to 10 eagles in it at dusk. The year we built the house, as many as 20 were seen in that tree. That was 2009.
