Yesterday as I was driving, I observed two robins on the ground along side the street. It was perhaps the coldest
day so far of the winter with an overnight temperature hovering just above zero and the coldest and strongest north wind that I can remember. They were having trouble flying. We have had one or two robins periodally during the winter in our backyard primarily at our heated bird bath.
