One student's tulip emerged in my Tuesday class. Students noticed its red tip coming up out of the ground where upon they all talked about it's going to be a red flower. We weren't expecting to see any up so we didn't measure its height yet. It was about 3 cm above the soil. The soil temperature was right at freezing 32 degrees F.
