While doing a bit of bird watching, I noticed a commotion over by the bird bath and water filled sandbox. Focusing on the area for a closer look, the first robins of the year were busy drinking the water and peeking around for food in my backyard. I observed the group for several minutes and counted no less than eleven plump, healthy looking birds.
