Flocks of robins have been around our yard all winter, but mostly in the trees. Today at noon there was a large flock of about 50 robins on the ground in my yard and by the creek looking for food. They are running around turning over leaves and mulch. There probably isn't much to find as it's about 25 degrees with a light snow falling. I did notice that all the robins I could see are male which I didn't know before. During the last month on warm days we have heard some singing, probably from a very confused male that didn't realize it was still January.
