At about 9:15 a.m. on Feb 3, 2013 I looked out my window to see about 50 Robins, males and females, sitting in the trees and eating frosted juniper berries from the local pine trees. The temperatures today were around -6 degrees celsius and everything was covered in the early morning frost. The trees the Robins were in were part of the forest near my house that backs onto the Credit Valley River. The Robins were gone by noon.
