Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/05/2013

Number: 1

74 degrees. winds 3mph. clear. 5p.m. Heard chirpings outside and saw three vacant half pine wooded lots next door were full of robins- looked like the ground was moving. They were in and about the freshwater pond drinking and bathing. One wave took off and the sky was full of robins from horizon to horizon headed north. Then a break and the waves repeated from skyline to skyline for several minutes. Another break and another sky full. The sunset light made their breasts really orangey pink- a pretty sight. This action continued until dark. Now 6:35- sounds like some may be bedding down in the pines. It is quiet now. If they are there, I'll hear them before dawn!!
