Hello from Mr. Gullickson's 4th Grade Classroom! Our school is located in Albany, Oregon. This is the first year that our school has participated with the JN tulip research project. During the second week of January we planted 24 tulip bulbs in our new JN Garden. Throughout the course of our project we will be monitoring and recording the daily week day above and below surface temperatures in our garden. We will record this data and use it to make projections about each month’s temperatures. Students in our class will be learning how to use Vernier LabQuests and Vernier temperature probes. We also hope to use a student designed LEGO robot which will be used to monitor soil conditions in our garden. Please write our class and say hello! Good luck with your gardens.
