St. Louis has many Bald Eagles that winter over every year. I visited the Riverlands Audubon Center and was delighted to see 10 or 12 perched in the trees along the shore of the Mississippi River. The eagles are only one of the many birds that can been seen from this conservation area. Too many to list, but do give their web site a visit. If you live near the area, it's well worth a visit.
