We have been having a mild winter, and we were very surprised when we went out to observe our tulip bed on January 28th. One of our experimental tulip bulbs had emerged! We went out again today (Feb. 8) and now two have emerged. Today one measured 1 1/2 inches and the other 1 cm. We have had mild temperatures all week.
