I was astounded and delighted to see a group of robins in my yard two days ago and again today. There are at least 8 or 9 but I have a lot of trees so there may be more that I can't see. They are feeding on the ground in a spot in my yard that has been warmed by the sun. There are snow drifts nearby. I agree with the other poster that this is the earliest time in the year that I've ever seen robins in Alberta.
