We have put in a small butterfly garden with Asclepias Curassavica plants and have planted Asclepias incarnata seeds. The seeds were just planted and have not germinated yet, but we are hoping they will be producing flowers this summer. My third graders watched 13 caterpillars turn into butterflies this fall and fly away. We were surprised to see a monarch back at our school last week!
