Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 02/12/2013

Number: 1

It was dusk, I began to hear a Robin singing, then I walked softly through to the clearing in my backyard, & he was there on the ground, as if hunting for worms. There is a large stand of bamboo all around our property, & he flew first to a tree branch, then into the bamboo stand. Hundreds if not thousands of blackbirds roost in the bamboo stand, beginning anytime now, and lasting until warm weather. Lots of Cowbirds & red wing black birds too.

It was the Peek and Tut calls. I have heard these calls many times over the years.
