Driving in downtown Cary around 8:30 am, there was more than one on the grass by the side of North Academy Road near Adam Street, but I could not stop to count. The morning was light misty drizzle and worms were probably out of the ground from rains the night before. The one I focused on long enough to see was doing the typical fast walk and stop to listen.
