Butterfly weed (asclepias tuberosa) and tropical milkweed (asclepias curassavica) are growing in my garden. There has not been a freeze so milkweed has survived all winter. Growth however is slowed by cool evening temperatures in 30's and 40's. There are enough leaves to support a few caterpillars.
