I spotted one Monarch butterfly on 2-15-2013 while I was working in my garden in the afternoon ... I have Milkweed growing ... in bud ... but not blooming yet ... It is the non-native Tropical Milkweed (Asclepias currasavica)... I have about 40 plants scattered across my small yard ranging in height from 9" to about 2 ft. high ...
