We were surprised to see our first tulip blossom today.There are several other tulip buds ready to open up in the next day or two. Unlike other tulips we have seen, the tulip that blossomed is not growing on a very long stem. The blossom is very close to the leaves.We wonder if this is because of our climate or if it is due to the variety of tulip we planted.
