These American White Pelicans are on their Spring migration north after having wintered in the Gulf of Mexico. They are heading north to Canada for the breeding season, and make a pit stop at Milford Lake, KS. This is the first year I've seen them here. Our lake is usually frozen however this year it hasn't.
