Today we observed that most of our tulips have shoots coming out of the ground. We dug up one and we saw the bulb , roots and the shoot which was red above the ground.
There was still snow on the ground from the blizzard but the tulips still came up. We did find that some of the shoots had gotten bitten off by some small rodent, we think. We want to say hello to our friends in Sheffield England, at Limpsfield Junior School!
