Tulips BLOOMED
Sightings report image

Date: 02/26/2013

Number: 1

We now have our first red emperor bloom! It seems that the Irish Spring soap, the all natural squirrel repellant, and the spinning pinwheels have protected most of our planted bulbs from the ravenous squirrels.

We also planted the yellow emperor and the orange emperor bulbs. However, those began blooming over a week ago.

Thed red emperor bloom that we have is a bit short of stem and stumpy looking compared to years past. Maybe a few days' growth will modify its appearance.
