We were birding at the Hickory Grove Conservation Area in Cary, and were looking across the Lyons Marsh area and spotted 3 bald eagles across the marsh on the other side. Two adults and a younger one. Also, across the river there (The Fox River), there is a large Eagle's nest amoung a large rookery of Great Blue Heron nests.
