Bald Eagle

Date: 02/17/2013

Number: 1

My son and I were near the Monroe Lake dam when we spotted a pair of bald eagles flying several hundred feet above the lake. They lowered and turned south over our heads, and started circling a large tree off the S Valley Mission road near our parked car. After a minute or so, they circled the dam spillway and started following salt creek toward Guthrie when we lost sight of them. Beautiful to see these great birds back in Indiana.
