Date: 02/23/2013

Number: 1

Submitted by Don Davis: Dr. Fred Helleiner, who writes a weekly bird column regarding bird sightings at Presqu'ile Provincial Park, located on the north shore of Lake Ontario south of the town of Brighton, reports for Feb. 23/12:

Although AMERICAN ROBINS are present in small numbers throughout the winter, on February 23 a flock of a dozen flying over near the lighthouse and another group on the grass of Lighthouse Lane, as well as a flock in nearby Brighton might actually have been early migrants.
