Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 03/06/2013

Number: 5

We received about 9.5 inches of snow yesterday and when I went out to shovel at daybreak I heard robins chirping. I looked up to see five robins in about an 80 foot soft maple. The snow is deep and I imagine that today is not going to offer much in the way of food being the end of winter and the amount of snow pack on everything. I usually spot robins by mid February and I thought they were being smart staying south until this miserable last stand of winter passed, however some brave scouts obviously decided to brave the weather and throw caution to the wind.
