We counted approximately 20 caterpillars on our fulled leafed milkweed plants. We have continued to have caterpillars throughout the winter here due in part to the mild weather which has not not gone below freezing. We have not seen any monarch butterflies laying eggs, however, and we are present most of the time and have a view from our windows.
