Native Indian Plum in the Duncan area have been leafing out over the last week. We had a few warmer days last weekend. The grass in our yard has been growing as well and is getting close to needing a cut despite a close crop last fall. Snowdrops are beginning to fade but still looking mostly fresh. They have been in bloom since late January. Daffs are up about 6-8 inches but not blooming. Purple heather in flower everywhere. Very light snow conditions in the inland southern Vancouver Island mountains this winter.
