My husband & I went hiking on Tuesday March 5, a nice sunny day about freezing point. It was near 1 pm that we saw a group of robins feeding under an old crab apple tree , just where the snow had melted to create a grassy patch. There was at least 12 of them. But when we returned to that site an hour later nothing. So much depends on timing.
See when this Northern Observation Post predicted first robin!
