Took my parents out for a ride on a cold, foggy Saturday. Drove by Des Moines Area Community College Campus in Boone and spotted hundreds of robins in an open sports field busily scrounging for food. They next day Boone received 10 inches of snow and were spotted by my dad in a tree in front of their home. They seemed to be going about their business despite the piles of snow. They are back- hopefully Spring is just around the corner.
