After a long soaking rain, we went out to check and found six or seven plants of about 8-10 cm in height. Turns out they were from a planting to years ago. Closer inspection found five of this year's plants emerging to a height of three cm. soil temperature finally reached 40 degrees 10 days ago, so we have been eagerly awaiting this emergence.
