Earthworm (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/13/2013

Number: 1

Several inches of snow overnight. Many birds in the feeding area including one robin. There was a small patch of bare earth where I had shoveled snow away. The robin was there. I took some grapes out thinking the robin might eat them and shoveled more snow. I came back in and watched through the window to see if the robin would eat the grapes. Instead it pulled up a worm from the shoveled area. It is 27 degrees F. Better than grapes!
