A Red Wing Blackbird had just landed on top of the suet feeder, right as I was going past window, which startled the bird, which then flew away. This is the first one I've seen since my last reported sighting of a first one. I had not seen a Red wing Blackbird all of last year. Today's sighting came at a time when all the different birds (nuthatches, titts, juncos, chickadees, downys, red bellied sapsucker, cardinals) were, non-stop, taking turns on a 1/2 block left of suet, in hanging basket. Those cardinals... they just can't do it, but wish they could!
