We have about 2 inch growth sprouting out of the garden. Some of the tops look tattered and have a tinge of purple color to them. We couldn't wait for our tulips to bloom, so we forced some in our kitchen window. It was our "Tulip Test Kitchen." It took them about 4 weeks for them to bloom. Once bloomed, the blossoms lasted much longer than they do outside! So beautiful.
