A small wave of about a half dozen robins were in the trees, shrubs and on the partially snow-covered ground at 3:30 in the afternoon. Temperature 51 degrees, mostly sunny. They were chirping and finding berries to eat. A cold front moved in overnight, but I saw several more clusters of robins on the south side of the hill at Pine Lake this morning, protected from the stiff breeze and 31 degrees. Big round rusty bulbs!
