Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 03/17/2013

Number: 1

I have been observing this bird for the past several weeks, and have never seen him before at my hanging or ground feeder. I used the website migrationresearch.org to help identify him. In this website I went to the MBO - McGill Bird Observatory, and then into the photo library for orioles. He looks similar to the one pictured HY-M. I do not know what HY stands for. He is orange under his head and orange under him tail. His head is now light orange, but earlier it was more yellow. His belly is yellow. Has anyone else seen this immature male oriole this early in Pennsylvania? Or maybe I am wrong in the identification.
