At first, we didn't even think to look for our tulips at this time. They have been covered with 10 inches of snow! However, when the snow melted this week, we were able to observe that the tulips from our test garden have emerged and are about 1 inch tall already. We planted our experimental tulip bulbs closer to the school building and we have observed that they have emerged and grown to about 3 inches so far since they receive warmth and protection from the building.
