Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/17/2013

Number: 1

Have had feeders up for a week, since the male arrived at that time last year
My husband spotted the male at the feeder. Was able to get a picture

April 3
This morning, 3 hummers narrowly missed me, as I was walking on my deck to go inside. Not sure if they were fighting over the feeders, even though we have 3 of them.
Hummers sit on the clothesline, waiting their turn.

April 10
My husband drives a gasoline tanker, found this monarch on the front grill, when he stopped at the station in Lake City, to deliver fuel. He gently took it off and put it in the grass.
