I saw my very first Robin here in Beverly Massachusetts on a day we were having a snowstorm. March 19, 2013. All by itself, just hopping around. I felt so bad for it out in the cold snow and worried about what the Robin would eat to survive. The ground is too solid to get any worms, and there aren't any bugs flying around and no berries to eat. This is what brought me to this web sight, so I could find out what they do in this situation. Today is the first day of spring, so I am hopeful that the weather will improve for these little feathered creatures. In the meantime, I will throw out some bread for them to eat.
