What a surprise! I passed by the area where our tulips are planted and saw a red spot from the distance. When I walked over to get a better look, one tulip was fully blooming and several others will be opening soon. The temperature has been in the high 70's this weekend and that probably did the trick. The plants are shorter and stockier this year than in years past. They are about 8cm tall. We think all of them have emerged now and look forward to seeing the many blooms when we return from Spring Break.
