I was driving home from work(3:30pm) noticed a large object in a tree -up ahead. When I saw the size and white head,I was convinced that the bird is a bald eagle. I was five minutes from home. When I entered the house I told my wife that I think I saw a Bald Eagle. I grabbed my camera and hoped the eagle was still there. I took about a dozen photos, when a pair of cranes nearby started making a racket and the eagle took flight. I was able to walk out of our car and get about thirty feet from the tree that the eagle was perched on.
