First of the year female Rufous Hummingbird - this is the latest I've ever seen a Rufous. I thought I heard a Rufous 2 weeks ago but could not confirm the sighting. Woke up this morning to find 4 inches of snow and when I cleared the snow off the hummingbird feeder, here was this tiny female Rufous chasing away the male Anna's!
