First robin today at our house! I heard its 'whinny' and was blank for a minute until I realized--A ROBIN. I saw two more on a 1-hour walk where they haven't been before so today seems to be their first day at our elevation. We still have snow on the ground, but it's all gone at lower elevations so robins may have already been present there. This is late for a first sighting. We typically see the first at our house earlier in March (8-15th)--if not scattered sightings during the winter.
