Red-winged Blackbird (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/24/2013

Number: 1

A redwing blackbird that was hatched here came home on Sunday. We know it is the same one because he has one red patch and two yellow patches. He is still as brave as last year and sits on the branch waiting for the feeder. Who needs robins? spring is officially here for us! Still snowing though. Next birds we wait for are the swallows and our little whiz kids the humming birds. not too soon we hope.
