Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/25/2013

Number: 1

On a lovely sunlit spring morning, I was cleaning after being away for the winter and let my grand-dog out on the deck to soak up the rays (since she truly dislikes the vacuum). It took me about 5 - 8 mins before I realized that I was hearing a robin with its whinny song!!! I have not yet seen a robin in our yard but know they always are here for the spring, summer & fall, so I was delighted to hear this one. I'm sure he was concerned seeing Sandy outside, but about 10 - 15 mins. later I noticed that the robin stop sounding its concern since Sandy was fast asleep!! I'll keep looking to spot them - it won't be long since all the snow has nearly melted away in the entire yard!
