We are in the process of creating a wildlife/butterfly/hummingbird garden in our front yard. (The only place on our property where we get enough sun to support most butterfly plants).
So far we've tilled the garden (about a thousand square feet) and amended the soil and planted 3 Buddleia plants, several Gaura Lindhelmeri, Rudbeckia Fulgida, etc. We also have ready to plant several herbs and Turks Caps and Milkweed.
This morning I'll be chipping and shredding mulch and starting seeds for black eyed susans and sunflowers.
