Saw 2 robins today, bathing in the puddle at the end of our driveway. There is a lot of snow left here. No grass is exposed in our yard yet. A few neighbors have a bit of grass showing around trees, and at the edge of the road where the snow banks have receded in southern exposures. A lot of melting occurred today however, as it got up to 40 degrees and was sunny for part of the day. This date is the latest "first robin sighting" for me in the 18 years that I have kept track. The old "record late date" was March 26th.
